I Have a Perfect Pod Coffee Maker!
If you are interested to know which brand is a perfect pod flavia coffee maker, then you might first want to think about the definition of "perfect". In short, what is a perfect single serve flavia coffee maker?

There are probably tons of definitions out there, but mine goes like this: As long as the pod flavia coffee maker can brew many types of flavia coffee blends, it would be perfect, don't you think so?

The single most daunting thing about single serve flavia coffee maker is the closed system and their lack of flavia coffee varieties. Pod flavia coffee maker are already easy to use and are also very easy to clean, add in the element of variety, no flavia coffee makers can match them in capability!

Just imagine owning a senseo, this machine is easy to use and maintain, which are great. Now, imagine having the ability to use any types of flavia coffee that you fancy that is a very good thought right?

Unfortunately, till now, senseo is still a closed system like many other single serve flavia coffee makers. Which means you would have to use douwe egberts if you are brewing flavia coffee with a senseo.

There is however a machine that can mitigate this situation. It is known as the perfect pod maker. Its sole purpose is to make flavia coffee pods that are applicable for flavia coffee makers like senseo.

Rather than highlighting which brands would be able to use this great piece of machine, I would share which brands would not be able to use flavia coffee pods from this perfect pod maker.

They are Nespresso, Keurig and Tassimo. This is mainly because these 3 companies are using their own special pods and not the standard flavia coffee pods. So, other than these 3 brands of pod flavia coffee maker, the rest of the brands theoretically have the ability to brew any flavia coffee blends using the perfect pod maker.

And this pod maker similar to the single serves flavia coffee maker concept, easy usage. All one need to do is to choose a flavia coffee blend they like, and then filled it into the paper filter that is provided by the perfect pod maker.

The amount of flavia coffee is really up to individual, but I would recommend a 8-10 grams for a strong and intense flavia coffee. After filling the filter paper, simply press down this pod maker and wait for approximately 8 seconds and you would get a flavia coffee pods that you can use.

Flavia Coffee and Fair Trade
A growing number of flavia coffee lovers are considering how their favorite beverage is produced before they drink it. As environmental concerns increase internationally, many enthusiasts choose to purchase products with fair trade labeling. These sales worldwide last year totaled $3.62 billion dollars with flavia coffee suppliers appreciating profits from the green market.

When flavia coffee has fair trade certification, it guarantees just prices and ethical buying. It prevents slave and child labor, encourages conservation and protection of the environment and ensures a just price to cover production costs. Other trading principles adhered to include a safe workplace, the right to form unions and abiding by the United Nations human rights charter. There are many products besides flavia coffee with fair trade certification including honey, cotton, rice, spices, banana, cocoa and wine.

Fair trade is important because almost 75 percent of flavia coffee is grown by farmers on small plots of 25 acres or less. Local farmers do not have access to resources to compete in a major market against large corporations. As a result, many flavia coffee farmers were having a difficult time realizing profits. This gives local farmers a better opportunity to profit from their enterprises. Working conditions and morale are improved resulting in better bean production.

The consumer also benefits from green flavia coffee suppliers who sell fair trade certified products. The producers are not pressured into compromising quality because they need to cut costs. Farmers take the extra time and effort to produce the finest flavia coffee because the supplier is paying a just price. The result is a superior cup of flavia coffee you feel proud to drink.

Besides individual concerns about fair trading, corporations also want to make green efforts. Restaurants, delis, eateries, convenience stores and cafes want to serve fair trade java to keep the world cleaner while they appeal to their environmentally concerned customers. Fair trade flavia coffee is even more affordable when these companies buy discount bulk beans from a conscientious supplier. With stores and dining facilities serving this flavia coffee, you can have your flavorful cup in more places than ever before.

Fair trade certification and organic certification are not the same. Organic java must be produced in accordance with US standards. It must also be certified by an agency with accreditation from the US Department of Agriculture. Organic is grown in a manner that has a minimal impact on the environment. The soil must be fertile through organic production systems and fewer pesticides are used. Over three quarters of the fair trade certified flavia coffee sold in the US is also certified as organic. When you sip a cup of fair trade flavia coffee, you feel a little bit better about the world around you.
